If you are thinking of getting married in Maidenhead, we would love to be involved!
As we are a parish church, usually either the bride or groom would have to live in the geographical parish, or be on the electoral roll of the church, but we can apply for a special licence, in some circumstances, if you would still like to be married at St. Peter's, so do get in touch.
Preparation
We run a marriage preparation course to help couples prepare for a life together and not just the big day itself. Participants usually find this fun as well as learning a lot - you will find out more about this when you get in touch.

Remarriage after divorce
The Church of England has clear guidelines for re-marriage in a church after a divorce, and when a former partner is still alive. The Vicar would be more than happy to meet with couples in this situation to explain the options open to them.
